Checkin In with the Bride to Be...

I asked Danielle to tell me a little about what she has been up to in terms of planning and here's what she has to say...

"Since the engagement, things have been quite the whirlwind! As of today (12/23/08) we have 81 days to go...as the date gets closer we are checking things off the list. I ordered my dress in August and recently went to my first fitting. The dress is a Maggie Sottero and thats about all the detail I am willing to give at this time. haha. Its absolutely gorgeous and I cannot wait for everyone to see it. My wonderful bridesmaids will be wearing a beautiful dress by Alfred Angelo. We have most of our vendors set: our photographer Thomas Geist (http://www.gg-images.us/)

our DJ Vinny Esposito (Split Second Sound), and our florist Carolyn Shepard (www.carolynshepard.net/). So everything is coming along nicely. Invitations will be sent out the first week of January. So keep your eyes peeled!

One of the most recent exciting events is that we have officially planned our honeymoon. After spending a couple days on the beach in Vero, we will return home and go to work for a couple days. Then on March 18th we will be departing to NYC and staying over night.

We will spend the day of March 19th in the city and that night we will depart from JFK and on March 20th we will wake up as we land in beautiful Venice, Italy. We will spend 4 beautiful days and return on Tuesday, March 24th. We are so grateful to have this opportunity! This will be Andy's second trip to Europe and my first time out of the country."

Sounds like our girl has everything under control! Can't wait to see the dress! ;)
